I am writing this alert today due to a recent spike in residential burglaries around our area. 

Local Police are actively working to prevent further incidents and are wanting to ensure everyone's safety. 

We urge all residents to make sure your property is securely locked during this time and to remain vigilant. 

If you notice anything suspicious or unusual please do not hesitate in calling emergency services via 101 or 999.
